Skills:
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to identify and evaluate new inventions for strategic value and patentability
- Manage the preparation and prosecution of patent applications to protect key innovations
- Advise on IP strategy, including invention harvesting, patent filings, and other IP matters
- Collaborate with outside counsel on patent application drafting and prosecution
- Conduct freedom-to-operate, patentability, and other IP due diligence to support product development
- Provide training to R&D teams on IP
Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of patent law and the patenting process
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to partner cross-functionally with software, hardware, product, and legal teams
